All hard wood floors are protected by a clear layer of coating that protects the timber from everyday life, this layer over time becomes dull, scratched and scuffed while the timber may also have some scratches and dents.
Sanding and re-coating will get rid of all the unsightly marks bringing your floor back to brand new.
You also have the option of selecting the colour and finish of your floor. Just about any colour is an option with a water based polyurethane finish such as matt, satin, semi-gloss or gloss etc completing the look.
Most people are unsure but did you know that engineered timber floors can also be sanded and re-coated, how many times will depend on;
- A skilled floor sander
- The thickness of your engineered timber veneer, which ranges from 0.6mm to 6mm.
